As far as non-country, I used to live next door to Bill Wray. He wrote and performed the theme song to the Goodwill games. Remember those events in the '80s that I think was started by Ted Turner. I think they were supposed to rival the Olympics. He wasn't a big star but was the main writer for Loverboy and wrote for Donna Summers.

Drumlogic37's dad played bass for Marty Stuart for a while...I know him.

    Does that count?

Nizzle, we know a rock star. Maybe not in fame, but in heart. Chubba Chad is a rock star if I have ever seen one.

I have a rock star story. When I worked as a bill collector for the electric company for Washington/St.Tammany/Tangipahoa parishes, I had to read meters that the meter readers wouldn't because of dogs, fences, etc... I had to read Britney Spears' meter every month because all of our meter readers are black and they apparently don't let black people on their property. I never had a problem getting in and I have the same truck and the same uniform.

I find it very funny that they would allow black people on their property, yet she married a guy who thinks he is hip hop.

Not funny at all. If they let real black people in, then their whole poser lifestyle collapses. As long as there is nothing to compare it to, then they keep their "credibility."

Yeh, what a sad, miserable existence it must be for her. I truly do not understand how people can watch people like her and think that money automatically brings happiness. I bet the curve for income to happiness is a relatively flat line. Zero correlation.

Actually, there is a modest correlation, but seems to work with a cutoff. That is, people who are middle class and above tend, on average, to be happier than people below that. So, getting richer does not make one happier, but being poor sucks.

While at Tech I knew the drummer for a famous band called 39 Stonybridge. I have also met the guys from Cowboy Mouth a few times. That's about it for me.

    Little, if at all.
    Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”

I flew on a plane with Flava Flav one time. I woke him up from his nap when I walked by his aisle and said, "FLAVA FLAV! YEAAAAHHH BOOOYYYY".

I saw Winnona Judd and Mary Lou Retton the same day at different airports. I almost walked over Mary Lou.
