    Colorado church shooting

    I happened to be on Tech’s web page looking at the Tech Triumphs and put it together that the pastor of the New Life church in Colorado Springs is a Tech alumnus (1989) from Simsboro. His name is Brady Boyd. Small world.

    Brady is a very nice guy. I have visited a church he used to work for in Southlake a few times (Gateway) and got to talk with him. He still follows Tech and keeps up with the scores. I'm sure God put him over there for a reason. He just accepted that position and moved out there a few months ago.

    That has been a tough pastorate to have come after the departure of their last pastor and then this. This is very sad.
