It's late in the 3rd quarter and Georgia's fans are shouting "over-rated" in unison regarding Hawaii's performance in the Sugar Bowl. And trust me when I say Hawaii has done NOTHING to acquit itself.
It may be the worst performance by a bowl team --any bowl team-- that I've ever seen.

Of course Hawaii is overrated, like I have said many times before.
Anyone that saw the game they played against us would have to agree.
The sad thing about it is that Hawaii getting to a bowl in which it did not deserve, prevented a team that did deserve to be in a BCS bowl...............Missouri. Everyone knew Hawaii didn't belong with that joke of a schedule. Even if it did get shunned by a couple of teams, they still did not deserve to be in the BCS. However, whether they deserved to be there or not, the WAC benefits.
1. La Tech played Hawaii tough enough, because you are good enough. You just don't know it yet.
2. USC also schooled Illinios in the Rose Bowl today. Do you think Illinois kept Missouri out of the Rose Bowl? Missouri...who gives a ....
Hawaii's loss was no different than Ohio St.'s loss with Heisman winner T. Smith at the helm last year in the National Championship game.
Georgia's fans are about as classy as that gatorade-bucket dodging, go-for-it on 4th-and-goal-from-the-five-in-garbage-time coach of theirs.
Kansas kept Missouri out, Hawaii didn't. A conference can't send 3 teams to a BCS bowl. Hawaii did what was asked under the rules...they did "deserve" to go.

Well now that it's over I'm going to avoid the rush and start hating Hawaii again right now.
I was not surprised. Well, a little. I thought UH might have done better on offense. Before the game I had thought UGA would win 42-24, or something like that, with UH putting together a couple of solid drives when the game was still "not over." That didn't happen.
UGA was focused and ready to play. Their size and speed, and their depth, was obvious.
Was UH over-rated.....er, yeah! but so what? We get a nice paycheck out of the deal.
If Hawaii were in the SEC they would be 3-8 at best. They never saw the speed before last night. WAC is weak and it was exposed even more at the dome.

Did you think the WAC was weak after last year's Fiesta Bowl?
Maybe the AP will name Missouri, Georgia, or USC the National Champion and cause a split title again. Or more likely Oklahoma if they win big.

Should Illinois have been in the Rose bowl? They lost by 32, one more point than Hawaii lost by. Arkansas also lost by 31 and South Florida, who at one time was ranked #2 in the country, lost by 35.
If LSU wins a close one over Ohio State, the AP will pick USC #1. Afterall, Illinois did beat Ohio State.
