The Founder's "intent" has no bearing on what the document actually says... Their personal beliefs are not reflected in the wording of the document...
"entangling alliances" is what led to WW1... everything else has been open and free...
I'm starting to believe that if ever a person like RP becomes President, a lot of the conspiracies surrounding JFK, the MIC, and more will come true with this person...
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said...... But I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
Not entangling alliances if that's what you hint... entangling alliances, to me, mean alliances that are so far buried under things you are literally entangled by it and can't get out... Korea, Vietnam, and the Gulf wars were wars of CHOICE, not because of any alliances... WW2 was because we were attacked... WW1 was because we were "attacked"... BUT, WW1 started because of alliances of no return, hence the sweeping changes to alliance policy by all countries just about post-WW1 in order to prevent another war like that, as it was believed the world could not handle another one (and truthfully, they were right)
Wonder if that interstate is still closed in California. Anyone know? If you turn to CNN you sure as hell wouldn't!
This weekend I was channel surfing for news on NH. Naturally, all the networks are also covering other stories. Well I happened to be watching FOX when live their reporter was on the side of an interstate (100-mile stretch) that had been closed due to the blizzard. She reported that the police were removing barriers as the plows had reopened the highway.
15 mins later while I was watching CNN they reported that that interstate was closed and what a huge traffic problem it was causing. It had only been 15 mins since it had re-opened, so no big deal. Then about 2 hrs later, again, CNN reports, live from their studio, that the interstate was closed and would be indefinitely. Hah! meantime FOX is showing traffic flowing on that very interstate.
Small thing you say? Yeah, I suppose. But truthful reporting is truthful reporting.
