No Phil, respectfully speaking, you are wrong. You are so blinded by your support for Long that you cannot see the reality of the situation.

I just know from being a coach what the obstacles are with a young team, you can fire him and bring back the old ball coach himself and he will still have the same obstacles for the rest of the year. Till they grow up they will continue to struggle that comes with being young.
I appreciate your honesty, but I still disagree. Blame it on youth all you want. These aren't "youth" problems. This is a terrible team. Are the players terrible? I don't know. It's hard to say, when they are being coached so terribly.
We will be LUCKY to come in third in the conference.
Barmore had several young teams. I remember a young team in the mid 90's with Spurlock and Johnson that would have ran circles around this "Young" team.

Well, that was painful to watch. I can not believe we are losing to conference teams at home.
Losing is a nice way to put it. We were TRASHED.
This team has young players but it's his decision to give those young players big minutes. April, Jo and Tub seniors. Tp and Bean sophomores. Wysinger and Johnson freshman, so honestly being young has nothing to do with the all the L's on the schedule. He is just being out-coached. He is a stand up guy away from basketball, but he is not a good fit to head coach this team. There is always a sliver lining on things but not making it to the NCAA tourney 2 years in a row is grounds for a new coach. Tenn. and Tech were the only two teams that had made it to all 25. My fork has be stuck!

Absolutely right. Not only that, but last year there were "issues" and supposedly Long resolved those. So far this year, more "issues" (Nixon).
Seems to me that the drama that is missing on the court is happening off the court. Long is being out-coached. As I've said before, that is nothing against him as a person, but sorry, he is not D1 Techster material. He's proven his inability to coach at this level.
This is embarrassing. Who cares if recruits read this? WATCHING THE GAMES WILL CONVINCE THEM TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
85-68 or something like that. It was 20 point margin until the final 30 secs and Tech brought it in under the 20 right at the end. In all honesty, if we'd played a team that was really good, this would have been a 40 point loss.
