I know it is just a pre season ranking but it's great to see us ranked ahead of a lot of really good baseball programs. I hope our team has a banner year by getting into a regional (and seeing how far we can go in post season play)
Some other writers' opinion:
PRESEASON NCBWA POLLDALLAS (NCBWA) – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the tenth year with its 2008 preseason predictions and weekly surveys. Weekly polls will continue from Feb. 25 to June 30, following the NCAA World Series in Omaha, Neb.

Good to see.

Also, that first poll had five Louisiana schools in the Top 100. Pretty cool.

They have been close before. Is this year when Louisiana Tech finally breaks through? They face a challenging travel schedule and some difficult opposition. Yet some feel this could be the season the suprisingly talented Bulldogs get back to Regional play. [details]
Does anyone subscribe to SEBaseball.com ? It would be interesting to read the details of their writeup on our Bulldogs.
Sorry...I didn't know all that gibberish would show up when I cut and pasted.
