John's 90 year old mother said just last week that the conservative base would hold their collective noses and vote for Johnny...I already have assumed the position with thumb and forefinger tightly grasped! However, I will vote for Mitt in the Texas primary.

I'm an asshole! What's your excuse?
I would rather have Mitt than McCain.
But yeah either way I want the GOP to win but it is definitely a lesser of two evils type of thing. I won't be donating a cent to either of them. Pitiful.
The only good news is Edwards dropped out, who looked to be the worst possible choice for President. (not that he was going to get it anyways)
With Fred Thompson out of the race I am coming to the realization that I am going to have to vote for Mitt Romney. I really dislike McCain. Overall though, none of the candidates inspire me.
I am sorry but I just threw up in my mouth a little when you said our current President has class. After he and Karl Rove assasinated two veterans reputation. Yes Kerry and McCain. How can class ever be associated with him or his administration. May we never live to see the kind of disgrace that GW has brought to this country again in our lifetimes.
The scales are probably going to tip more in McCain's favor now. Huckabee and Romney will split the "religious" vote in other states and McCain will win because of their split...until one of them drops out, but it might be too late by then.
Rudy's endorsement helps him, but Rudy is not exactly Barry Goldwater.
The way the democraps love sensationalism and sharing and wearing shit on their sleeves, I give it better than even odds that if Hilly is elected, she will come out of the closet as a lesbian (would that upstage Billy and Monica, or what ??); if Osama Obama is elected, he will come out of the closet as a muslim ??
Yeah, I'll literally hold my nose and vote for McCain (should it come to that) just like I did for dubya -- 2nd term. I'm voting for Ron Paul in the Louisiana-do; Guis & Rand -- I've been a Ron Paul admirer for a long time; but, I realized long ago that he's mostly unelectable outside of his district.
I'm sadly disappointed at the p-poor campaign effort by Thompson.
Nope sorry I am one of those liberals however I do like McCain because like Hillary on the Democratic side, I think all politicians should direct themselves more to the middle and I know that doesn't sit well with ultra conservatives that hang here. And you are right, my spelling has gone to complete crap. I used to be such a great speller. But I do know that you can't spell God aWful withoutGW. And Swiftboat vets were hardly based on fact since many more came forward to confirm Kerry's whereabouts. Now nobody can really confirm where the hell Bush was during the Alabama years.
