Police: Student kills two women, self on Louisiana Tech campus
Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”
Can't they change the name of Louisiana Technical College to something else, like Louisiana Vocational College?
Go Tech!
Yeah, I saw this headline on CNN:
Police: 3 shot dead on Louisiana Tech campus
And started freaking out. Turns out it's Lousiana Technical College in BR.
Trying to find an email address for CNN editors as we speak. Because this isnt good publicity for LaTech if people dont know the difference.
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." - Theodore Roosevelt
Yeah, if you go to CNN.com they have a similar headline on the front page.

If there was previously a doubt that we have a branding/marketing problem...

I saw that and called my mother in law in Ruston to ask. She hadn't heard of anything so I assume after reading the article, CNN just didn't get it right.
If you go to the very very very bottom of the websiteo n CNN, there's a "Contact Us" link. Click on CNN and look for "Editorial mistakes".
I submitted feedback telling them they needed to edit the headline to say Louisiana Technical College, and not Louisiana Tech, because they are two completely different schools.
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." - Theodore Roosevelt
The new headline:
Police: Female student kills 2 others, self at Louisiana college
Looks like whatever you told them worked.
wow they changed it quick, it now reads:
"Police: Female student kills 2 others, self at Louisiana college"
They still need to change the headline on the front page.
Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”
But isn't Louisiana College in Pineville?
