Leap Day Offers Nice Upside for WAC Baseball

WAC plays three top 20 teams plus two SEC teams today. Leap Day could be a chance to leap forward for the conference.

La Tech vs Arkansas - If Luke throws strikes, Bulldogs have a great shot at the rebuilding Hogs.

Hawaii vs. #1 ASU - Every team that has played the Devils has been beaten ugly (e.g. Vandy blasted 18 - 6, Oregon State thrashed 11-0, Michigan looks like pretenders after getting owned 15 - 4). It's can be a fun opportunity when you play any #1 team, but it looks like Spam and pineapple for dinner at ASU.

Cal State Sac vs #6 Arizona - Another opp against a Top 10 team, but after taking 2 of 3 at Georgia last weekend, Zona probably rolls in their home opener as Guilbeau gets on track.

Alabama at Nevada - Tourney game in Texas, both teams off to bad starts, pick' em. Another shot for the WAC to take down an SEC West team.

Fresno State at San Diego - USD off to a flat start despite being highly ranked, FSU stumbling out of the gates as well. FSU needs a big win after getting ripped by Cal 14 - 4, and having a strong Cal Poly on deck plus surprising San Diego State on tap before some easier pre-conference games.
