Need softball players!!

A little friendly competition! The 2nd Security Forces Squadron at Barksdale AFB is hosting a base wide unit fundraiser Softball Tournament on 14 March 2008 at the base fields located adjacent to the East Gate. If you would like to field a team, your team must be at least 10 people, $100 per team, 10 team's total. First 10 paid teams are locked!

Depending on weather conditions, we also have the 15th reserved for play. This would be a great way for our local Police families to come together and have some fun and properly welcome in "Police Week" in May 08. As soon as you have a team put together, let us know their names as soon as possible so we can arrange for base entry at the North Gate.

They have given me permission for a BBB team!! I would love to get a group of guys together and play in this. It's scheduled on Friday for 8:00am and running all day. Take a day off work and come goof off at a softball game.

1st place (my team) will get their money back and a trophy. 2nd and 3rd place will get trophies as well.

Come play anyways. It won't hurt my feelings if we lose, but I just always want to win. Surely you can contribute in some way.

I've got to work. Probably need to check with Sooner to see if I'd make clearance anyway. I think he got my "incident" handled several years ago, but you can never be too careful.
