Here we are. It's not where most of us thought we'd be at the beginning of the season. But the reality is this: we're officially 0-0 starting tomorrow.

It's been a disappointing season to say the least, but the reality is this: The WAC is not a great conference. Yes, Boise and Fresno have both swept our series this year, but neither of those teams are top 25 caliber and we can beat them. The probability of that happening isn't good, but the possibility is great.

I hope Long is prepping the Techsters as underdogs, because that is the unfamiliar role we are now playing.

So we'll either be 1-0 or 0-1. Winning the first would guarantee a winning season (although by the smallest margin possible) and a loss would mean finishing 15-15. There is plenty of external motivation for this team to show up ready to play. Let's hope there is motivation from within the program itself as well.
