To those who said to stop complaining, you were right. Complaining about Long did no good. He is still the head coach.

It doesn't matter that we've had our two worst seasons ever. It doesn't matter that we're losers in the WAC, which by the way, has been proven to be the pathetic conference it is in the post-season (at least in WBB).

It doesn't matter that we lost to ULM at home....wait, we didn't just lose, we were demolished by them. We barely had a winning record....and barely a winning record even in HOME games.

It doesn't matter that this was Long's team...no more complaints about Budke. Other teams had SIMILAR youth issues and overcame them.

Many of us complained about those things....many of us complained last season as well. We were told to stop complaining about Long and give him a chance this season. When he failed before this season was over we were told to not complain until after the season ended. Once the season ended, miserably, again, we are being told that complaining again will get us nowhere and that we should just keep giving him chances.

You know what? You're right. There is no use in complaining. Under Long the LADY Techster program has become the LAZY Techster program. That is NOT an attack on the actual student athletes, it is an attack on Long's lack of leadership, passion and coaching ability.

So no more complaints. What's the point? Those of you who are positive were correct. Complaining about the demise of this once great program is meaningless....because those with power don't listen. I'll just be a fan now and cheer no matter what.

I thought about giving you green for that post, ffa. But I decided to first let this thread run for a while to see if you follow your usual pattern.

Perhaps you are right. OMG, did I just feel an earthquake? I said perhaps Clyde is right.

Maybe I should donate so I can see my money, like those who donate to Champs, being put to such great use.

Since we showed that $100,000 mattered sooooooooooooo much to our athletic department, why don't we save that money and hire no new assistants to replace those that have been fired, encouraged to leave, or left on their own accord. That lets the new coach next year come in without having to let go anyone that Chris Long would hire. Surely that would save a little cash (more than $100K) and not give Long the excuse that it takes time to get his assistants on his page. Talk to Coach Barmore and see if he would come back for the year to bail out his boy and his program.

Why complain --- let's save the almight dollar. We showed that mattered by keeping long. How much revenue will we be losing?????????????????
