Can anyone tell me what happened to the TKE house? I have several old Teke's that would like to know. I don't think they are all aware that the fraternity is no longer active at Tech.

Sigma Nu, Kappa Sig, KA, Delta Chi still going strong. ATO still around but with hardly any numbers. Uh...oh, SAE is around too, but with a house way off campus so they kind of get forgotten.
Got two new ones (Acacia and some other one) trying to get started up on campus as we speak. We'll see how they work out.
The TKE house on Homer Street was sold to Tech and was torn down to make additional parking. The TKE's then rented a house next to the Sigma Pi house on West Mississippi. The owner of the house sold the property to Tech. Tech tore the house down along with the Sigma Pi house. Tech Housing Apartments are going to be built on the site. As far as I know, there is no longer a "TKE" house in Ruston. They have scattered to the four winds.
Pike and AGR are also on campus and the other colony besides Acacia is Pi Kappa Phi
Frats, what a waste of money and time, go find some real friends. just my personal opinion
I have been as against frats as anybody but it isn't like being in a frat makes you a bad person. Frat life obviously attracts some bad people but don't forget that many influential people have also come from that lifestyle. They have an entrenched spot in universities and believe it or not do occasionally do some good.
Enough frat bashing because otherwise this discussion would never end.
