since i won't be able to make it to ruston on the 12th, i figured the next best thing was for me and ark-bob v 4.0 to go see former bulldogs play against team texas in the season opener for the all american football league. so i looked online today to try and get tickets, but found out that they've decided to postpone their first season until 2009.

if this has already been announced elsewhere, i apologize. i just thought it was a bit disappointing -- i was hoping to see the almost all Tech team arkansas linebacking corp stomp team texas into a mudhole at rice stadium. oh well, maybe next year...

I heard about it a while back. The Battlewings signed some players that were let go due to the postponement.

I just hope they can think of a team name/mascot than calling themselves Team Arkansas or Team Texas.
