As for your "liberal media," they've been giving McCain a free pass on a LOT of things. But then again, I guess a lot of you feel like McCain is pretty liberal himself.

The 57 states comment may have been a Freudian slip. He may have been thinking about the 57 Islamic States. Here is the Wikipedia passage:
