The Sun Belt is the #12 overall baseball conference, RPI wise, and you guys are #20.

The belch is actually pretty good in baseball and does have a higher rpi than the WAC. However, Tech is better than ULM no matter what conference they are in

You have had more success this weekend true but all I can hear right now is the sound of a sweep. Oh and the WAC RPI is down because our conference beat up on each other through out the season. That and Fresno started out slow. RPI isn't a judge of how good someone is. It judges who all you have beat/lost to.
One of my favorite parts of the game last night was when they had a batter up with 1 out and runners on 1st and 2nd. The batter then hit a pop up to right field. Well at that time a player on the ULM bench says "Sac fly." Of course Jericho gets the ball back in and the runner at 2nd has no chance of advancing to 3rd. I guess that was just some of that ULM edumaction kicking in.
Even worse, it wouldn't even have been a sacrifice fly, since a runner has to score for that scoring rule to be in play.
That was one of the things I was trying to point out.
Could it be that we now see the seperation between the Sun Belch and the WAC for those who seem to alway see it as an option in any sport.
You are comparing the WAC vs Sunbelt on a series with one team? Wow. I think there is a reason the Sunbelt has a much higher RPI.
They spent much more space griping about the fact thet Oakes had some ULM fans thrown out for heckling players.

We went from being picked 8th to #1 in the 9th ranked conference in the nation. You guys can knock us all you want for losing midweek non conference games to yall, but all that matters is that WE are the ones that are still playing!
You guys enjoy WATCHING that wac tournament. My guess is that average attendance will be about 50 people

This is college baseball man, and you're talking about midweek games. Any body can beat anybody. #1 ranked Miami lost to FIU and FAU for crying out loud. It doesnt make FIU or FAU the better team. The only thing that matters is how you end up at the end of the season.
You guys are at the bottom of a very weak baseball conference. ULM or UNO would have easily won the WAC this year (maybe even Troy or S. Ala.). If all it takes to make yall happy is two midweek wins against ULM during your "break out" season, then I really feel sorry for you guys. They had you guys picked #1 at the beginning of the year right?
