Bout to have my first ever Pliny the Elder! Expectations are up there!
Anyone in the Lafayette area? I am trying to get some Parish Brewing Ghost in the Machine DIPA. The taproom has already distributed everything they have and is no longer selling it. It is available at Marcelo's and Rouses as of today but will go fast. Let me know if you may be able to pick up a few bottles for me.
I've got 5 gallons of APA in secondary fermentation and it will.be ready by mardi gras!
Thinking about brewing a Pliny clone for tailgating this year.
with 2 kids still in diapers and a hectic work schedule the wife just won't allow more than one at a time. That being said I already have a brew tower built. just waiting to do the plumbing. I'm working up to whole grain brewing to finally reach my dream.
It's a very east coast beer..living in nj I find it everywhere, but when I was out in CA for some time I don't ever recall seeing it. I'm not sure how far west or south they go so I'm not sure if any of the southern states having it. They have a finder on their site that you can use http://www.dogfish.com/brews-spirits/fish-finder.htm
What a guy. Answering a 2008 post.
Anyone here on the beer thread from the Richmond, VA area?
Met the owners of Red River Brewery today. Makers of "Hayride." Understand they donated 5 kegs to Tech and Tails recently.
So, how good is Hayride? Have never tried it.
Anyone had the Fish Bladder Bock Beer, or the Anti-Freeze Lite yet?
