I got upset with a coworker the other day, because he asked why I had a Texas Rangers logo on top of Louisiana. I corrected him, and started teaching him of Tech's history, but it still made me mad.

Don't worry about it. I always tell ranger hat wearers that that is a nice Tech T on the hat. I especially like doing that to known lsu folks.
Hey, if rangers can claim each and every T then why shouldn't we?
No, Ft. Worth, but he's from Houston.
Wow he must need glasses since the Rangers T look NOTHING like the Tech T
I know this isn't the newest one but I didn't feel like spending alot of time looking for a good link.
Think he was just pulling your chain, if not then go take him to an eye doctor.
Funny...I saw my old Rangers cap (early 90s, picked up by my dad on a business trip; Go Astros!) this morning and complained to myself how the Tech baseball team actually used to wear a Rangers based uniform. This was before their Dodgers/Mets uniforms. I never did like the Rangers unis, but, if I remember correctly, they had the normal Tech "T" where the Rangers "T" would go...
This thread is just another example of what Dooley has been talking about; how the State-T has too many different versions in use...
Our Blue Unis this season use the Rangers Font http://www.printroom.com/ViewGallery...53&image_id=28
I had a first today. I was wearing a Tech polo at Outback and a friend of a friend asked me why the Tennessee "T" was on Louisiana...really? Was it THAT dark in Outback that he couldn't tell it was a RED T? THAT was just embarrassing.
The T they use is the one in the middle of the circle, w/ the Diamond in the middle and the arch on the sides. Like I said if he mistakes that for a plain block T, time to go to the optometrist.
