I don't have numbers but I will suggest that anyone needing any finacial planning to look at Argent Finacial as their planner. IMO, Argent has looked at the possible reward for supporting Louisiana Tech and has decided that it would be in their best interest to support Louisiana Tech. MANY (if not most) in this group support Louisiana Tech. I KNOW OF AT LEAST ONE BB&B MEMBER that is VERY, VERY connected to this deal. I suspect many, MANY more. But more importantly, they may already made their commintment
If you can support them .... great!
If not! Just remeber them for the future.
They are active supporters of Louisiana Tech Athletics.
Nothing else matters.
Argent not only supports Athletics but also is a partner with the College of Business as noted on this list of partners http://www.business.latech.edu/alumni/partners/
You'll also notice a few others that are corporate sponsors in Athletics listed here. Some of the refurbished areas of the Business building were paid for by CenturyTel, KPMG, etc.
Good to see an all around support for the university by businesses. One of their motives is to attract good employees and there is a looming shortage of workers coming and the competion is starting to ramp up. Companies are looking for ways to attract prospective employees while they are in college - not waiting for them to have graduated and gotten some experience anymore.
Everyone benefits...
BUMP!!
No one jumped on this.......anyone have an opinon??? There was a thread under general sports about JAS naming rights (or any sport complex for that matter)....but it died pretty quick.... Argent Pavillion sounds pretty good for what it is....
How would everyone feel about a few million extra a year for naming rights?
Hertz Field. (brought to you by Hertz Rent-A-Car)
"Nothing Hertz more than Bulldog Football."
I meant it that way.
It was supposed to be one of those "either way" kind of statements...for the sake of humor.
or the "BARK of a new generation".
We weren't tough enough to actually bite?
As of this morning...per Eric Buskirk the theme is:
"the BARK of a new generation"
Why not go with "the BITE of a new generation"? Its like last year were barked a little bit to let people know we are back, but now we aren't taking any prisoners.
Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”
