It's June and the Cubs and Devil-Rays have the best records. The Cubs, Rays and Rangers have better records than the Yankees.
Gotta love it!!!
Dwayne better knock on wood.

Well lets see my Yankees are on a 7 game win streak and A Rod is back hitting his home runs YOu will see That the Yankees will be playing in October while the Cubs and Devil Rays will be playing golf
Too many injuries. Hopefully Soriano will be back 100% and Zambrano's injury is as minor as they say it is. I am a lot more worried about Zambrano than I am Soriano.
Imagine if the Cubs had a healthy Zambrano and Wood and Prior had never gone through all of those injury problems. They could have had a staff that rivaled the old Braves staffs. But alas we are talking about the Cubs so that wasn't ever going to happen.
Still not too late for them though.
Not too late, they are in first place and up until recently they had the best record in baseball. I expect them to make some moves after the All Star break. When Big Z gets back we'll be fine. Soriano is a fast healer. He'll be back before the timeframe they stated. Everyone has injuries, it's part of the game. What the Cubs need to do is improve their road record to .500. They are good enough at home to win the division if they improve on the road.
You win the division, get into the post season and who knows.
No comment.....:icon_wink:
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
Big Z back in the saddle. Great news and a welcome relief for all of us pulling for the Cubs.

Sabathia goes to the Brew crew, not a good sign. Z did look good Friday night. Soriano should be back after the All Star break. We still need to find another pitcher but the trade deadline is not till the end of the month.
Hopefully the Cardinals can pull off a big series and claim their rightful position in the NL Central. Not sure anyone expected them to have the second best record in the NL at this point.
