The tennis courts look nice,but was that really the best location for them?

Hopefully that question was answered prior to breaking ground.

I was at the Bastrop event this week and asked Dooley if there is a comprehensive plan for athletics' facilities? Since the previous admin had a reputation of not sharing information, we don't know the big picture so we are left to wonder "was that really the best location ...?".

His answer was that they do have a plan that is nearing completion but has not been made public yet. I do not know if there is some sort of cross-functional planning committee working on this or not? If Dooley wants to build a strong relationship with the supporters, he will need to continue improving on the communications. Right now it appears to be improving as evidenced by the content being put on latechsports.com and his road-show.

You are exactly right. He is designing plans and showing WHERE our donations are going. He has addressed this several times and recognized it as a major past issue. The LTAC is going to fix all of our funding problems.
