    What Rick Ankiel has been able to pulloff is a very rare phenomenon.(especially hitting against major league pitching) I'm hoping that Jericho won't ever have to fall back on his pitching abilities and gets there as a hitter as is his dream & first choice. If that happens then any money he passed up now will pale in comparison to the MLB contracts in the future.

    Ankiel is quite amazing. I can see a batter going back to pitching, if you got an arm, you have an arm. They can work with you. Adjusting to major league pitching after not hitting for a few years is amazing. Of course, Ankiel was killing the ball when he was hitting as a pitcher, kind of like Micah Owings.
