A co-worker told me that UCA's stadium is not centered properly when they built it. It's off by 6-10 feet. Here's a pic, look at the center of the stands vs the 50 yrd line. He told me that the surveyor goofed up.

I like UCA a lot, but that might be the ugliest football stadium (field) in America.

You must have never seen North Washington field....it is red.
I woundn't quite call myself OCD, but that would drive me up the wall if I had to look at that off-center field.

Yeah looking at the guard rails at the bottom of the pic and assuming they are equal distance from the center of the home side stands the 50 looks to hit right between them, then it's the visitor stands which are 6' off. Oops! Haha, surveying is always fun, what I find happens alot is one surveyor comes in, usually in prelim studies, and surveys off of an unofficial mark for rough engineering estimates. Then nobody (construction company/detail engineering firm) goes back to check the survey, just take it as gospel until it's too late...
Here's a pic from the east side stands. At least they placed the lights correctly.
I could not watch a football game played on that field. I'd be pissed if I was a UCA season ticket holder.

I've seen Eastern Washington's. I think this one makes me need to puke worse because it has purple in it.
"Central" apparently does not mean the same in Arky as it does in the rest of the world
