It's just too bad that if he wanted to get back in to coaching that he chose Baylor over Tech!
Sure loved the guy but can't help but think of him as a trader now!
It will be a nice addition to his accolades I suppose!
Just wait and see if his name shows up this season on the list of LTAC donors. If not, then your thoughts may be justified.
If someone is ready for retirement, Louisiana Tech is not the place to be as there is too much work to be done. At Baylor, it sounds like he can roll out of bed, play nine, then get to work. Can't fault him for that.
Plus, Kim made him a sweet deal that we could not afford. No offseason stuff - can live in Ruston all of off season, some practices, and doesn't have to do away games if he doesn't wish. It is not a tough gig. She just wanted his name there. He gets paid as full time. We couldn't afford to pay him full time for that amount of work - we needed a full time person.
One more thing is that Barmore may have chosen to do this because he is friends with Chris. If he came back, everyone would give all the credit to him. I guess that will happen with TSpoon, as well.
Anyway, I had a rough time with it for a while (still do some), but his quote below in my signature says something about where his heart is and may say something about the future.
