Well, I think you would agree that LA Tech isn't like most athletic departments in the entire nation. We have less money and more needs than most.
However, the "current system" of having Dooley act as AD and Head Coach seems to be working very well. As an AD, Dooley has gotten more dirt flying on the Tech campus in the last few months than I've seen in the last 30 years. He's also done a great job reaching out to the masses, including alumni and former players.
As a head coach Dooley has only disappointed me twice (so far); the Nevada loss and his inability to sign a top quality QB.
Then again, Rome wasn't built in a day.

Dawgs need to be relatively injury-free coming out of first 3 games of the season, and be physically ready for WAC play.
