Re: Best/Worst brawls
I remember a doozie against Tulsa in the '90s and I've heard some pretty legendary stories about the brawl at South Carolina after JRP ran our team out of the tunnel when they were playing their fight song. That was back when ESPN referred to us as "Little Miami".

Re: Best/Worst brawls
The fights are supposed to be in the bars after the game. The problem is that Ruston didn't have bars back in my day and Tech won most of its games. I don't remember a brawl in my Ruston days.

Re: Best/Worst brawls
The only one I remember seeing at Tech was after we beat ULL without Tim in '99. I distinctly remember JB3 slamming one of our huge linemen while pulling him out of the fray.
My high school ended one season with a brawl on the sidelines. I'm pretty sure the other guys started it, but they made the poor decision to start it on our side of the field. If you're going to get into something like that, I suggest you do it near your own sideline. I didn't swing any punches, but I was darn near the only one on my team that didn't.
Craziest one I was close to was at halftime of an Arkansas Twisters (Arena 2) game.

Re: Best/Worst brawls
Tech/NLU 1973. At the time I thought it was awesome...we won the game massively, we won the fight more massively. Looking back, it was pretty ugly.
Will never forget Joe McNeely at mid-field...
