[quote=Juice752;681751]Yes. Based upon TT having the "later" loss. Texas Tech could still finish 12-1 and still not reach a BCS bowl. The Raiders still must play AT Oklahoma. That ain't no cake walk. Lose at Oklahoma, and there's a 3-way tie for 1st place in the Big 12 between UT, TT and OU. However, based upon the "last loss" scenario, TT would be the odd man out. What does everyone think would happen if Texas Tech wins out until the Big XII title game where they lose to either Missouri or Nebraska? Does Texas then jump Texas Tech?
[quote]Not the NC game. Barring something really strange, the NC game is already set. Too many good teams this year with less scars on their schedule. The NC game will be Alabama or Florida from the SEC, versus T Tec (best shot), Texas (next shot) or Oklahoma (longer shot) from the Big 12. USC ends up at home in the Rose Bowl against Penn State. That's not a bad consolation prize.Does USC get in?
No, a 2-loss Big 12 team will not play in the NC this year. Too many good Big 12 teams for that to happen anyway. At best, TT will go undefeated. At worst, either TTech, UT or OU will make it to the NC game with only 1 loss.Does Texas Tech get in regardless as long as they win the Big XII South? What if about a 2 loss Big XII South team?

You mean Texas Tech losing to OU, OU wins B12S, OU losing in B12 title game isn't possible? Or are you saying Texas or Texas Tech would then jump OU in the final BCS rankings?
If OU beats T Tech (which is certainly possible), Texas moves up to #2 and makes it to the NC.
Neither T Tech, OU or Texas will lose the Big 12 title game. They are all much better teams than Missouri, the best the Big 12 North has to offer.
Missouri is overrated. Last year Missouri didn't have to play Texas at all, and they lost to Oklahoma TWICE. This year Missouri has already lost to Texas (by about 25 pts) and to Oklahoma St, at home. The Tigers don't have to play either Oklahoma or Texas Tech during the regular season this year.

I don't think TT will lose a game in conference. Thus, I think they will make it to the Game. Texas will also be in the BCS mix, which could potentially open up both sides of this year's I-Bowl.
I'm an asshole! What's your excuse?
Texas Tech wins the national championship.

BTW, we are not very good preseason prognosticators!

Texas Tech vs Florida
Tech wins
Florida wins it all.
Florida can't win it all because they won't get past Alabama!
