well, last night, it was the clothes and the rain. it felt like i was watching a wet t-shirt contest for members of the proverbial "committee."

    excellent volleyball, though.

that sounds like some young dukes and princes were sitting around with nothing to do and made up an obstacle course (sounds like fun).

Kind of sounds like a 19th/early 20th century officer training program. Or a Teddy Roosevelt parlor game.

On a side note , they are now reporting that there have been documents uncovered showing 3 of the 6 Chinese womens gymnastics team are underage. What a shocker huh! If this is in fact found to be true China should never be allowed to host an Olympics again seeing as their own government is the party responsible for falsifying documents. And all parties should be totally ashamed (athletes, coaches, Chinese Olympic committee).

There is no way on earth that girl that won the uneven bars is 16. They are saying probably 14. I'd say 12.

World: We think (and have substantial evidence) that China is cheating.

    IOC: Ok, we'll investigate.

IOC: China, are your ladies gymnasts underage?

    China: No

IOC: OK good enough. Move along people, nothing to see here.

I agree. China will come up with more "official documents" showing that this girl is in fact 38 years old and the IOC will accept it. At best, I say it will be "inconclusive".
