I agree this was a great win in Ruston, but this is an SEC team, first game of the season, and they are coming off a bowl bid!
There have been bigger wins. The question is what happens after this win.
CSU as stated above. The ranked Fresno teams. Beating Boise to win the WAC in our first year.
I would add the IAA playoff win over Mississippi Valley as well.

Fresno a few years ago when they were ranked. Much bigger deal than this one.

You forget how big of a media darling FSU was at the time that game was played.
I'd say it depends. The CSU game was a great come from behind win, and we did it against a top 25 team while our team was filled with guys who were recruited by D-1AA La. Tech.
It's probably not fair to pick between the two because a win over MSU would be big and would get out season going in the right direction. Beating an SEC team at home would be a huge win, especially since the MSU program is also heading in the right direction and had a good season last year.
it terms of our perception by outsiders, winning against MSST would be bigger than the wins versus fresno or boise.
Perceptionwise it will be the biggest. The ranked Fresno team was a better team though I think, unless MSU really goes crazy.
