Frown Techsters have not signed top players.

Go to this site and look at players who have signed and players who are interested by year. Techsters have left the building. Then, look at Baylor's recruiting classes by year. WOW, what has happened here? Do we still believe a 5 year contract is too long??

I wouldn't take too much from that website most of the people they haven't evaluated are at 40

We haven't signed top players in YEARS...and we probably never will again.

The $$$ is in MBB and it is about damn time our AthDept figured it out...can you imagine if WE would have spent $$$ in the late 80's and early 90's on MBB where our ENTIRE AthDept would be?

Could you imagine if we had had someone that cared enough to go out and find the money and support the Dawgs AND Techsters?

Anyway, Techster fans, players, and signees need not worry. Attention is being paid to all our sports now - FINALLY.

The little money we spent in the 80's and 90's on the Techsters wouldn't have been enough to make a difference in the MBB program. Hiring Lloyd and Richard were what did the program in more than anything.

Never said to spend what we spent on WBB on MBB. I simply stated that IF we had spent on MBB can you imagine where we would be.

Exactly! If we had spent money on ANY program, just imagine where we would be. We didn't spend nearly enough on MBB, FB, or WBB - not nearly enough. The difference was we had a great coach in WBB. Tradition built and put them somewhere. We could have had great success in MBB if we would have been able to keep Russo and Eagles (or even tried).

Barmore made the difference in WBB. We paid dearly for not investing in our athletic programs. Now, we are putting some money in our programs and it will pay off. Weatherspoon is going to pay off for the Techsters, as well.

Why have this whole discussion again? Let's move forward.

This page of next year's recruits is also very interesting. Look who's getting most of the top 25 players in 2009; BAYLOR!

I can imagine a Tech athletic world with more money to go around for all sports if we had.

Kinda frightening to think how good Griner can be with both Kim & Leon coaching her.
Anybody know anything about this local young lady from Ruston HS.- Jalena Sanders
Not much on this website about her other than she's 6' 1" but that's a start!!
