I heard it was, if you like that kind of thing. Some said he resembled Appollo standing up there. I was too busy watching Wake Forest and Baylor.

Did it seem like a Hollywood movie at the end? Yes. Was the movie music good? Yes. When it was all said and done, it was the same liberal matra and programs except it was a tad more stealth.

Well, Pat B. said it was the best acceptance speech he had heard. Of course, 34 million Americans watched it on the telly, twice the number who tuned in for Kerry.

Certainly elevated the level of political theater, what with the stadium seating and the fireworks at the end. Be interesting to see how many watch McCain's speech.

Not nearly as many. Of course, most people kind of know what McCain stands for and nobody knows what Obama stands for except for some crazy socialistic policies. He stayed vague and evasive, just as usual. Just keep looking pretty, smile at the camera, and keep not talking about your plans on the issues. Axelrod has this all laid out for Obama. The more I read about Axelrod, the less I like him. He is not a person that is out for the best interest of the country.

Dhuss pretty much summed up it up. Anyone in their right mind wouldn't vote for Obama. What are you idoits thinking anyway?????????????? You have to be young, ignorant college kids that were spoon fed from birth until now, or you are on welfare and expect the goverment to support you if you like and want to vote for this dude. Obama will screw up this country any way you spin it...We already have enough special interest groups, enough taxes, etc. My Opinion for what it is worth....next to nothing

Yep, pretty much. These guys are paid to sell a bag of goods and like most salesmen, I can only trust them as far as I can throw them.

Giving a good speech is about as hard as your offense practicing against no defense.
