All I am going to say is the student section dug into Carrol all game. Champ almost got in a bit of trouble after his 3rd int when Champ placed a football on the table beside him and was taunting him behind his back. The RPD weren't going to do anything until their coaches started pitching a fit.

The horse collar call was legit...no question. The late hit call on Livas was legit, but the explanation of helmet to helmet contact was bogus. It was either shoulder pad or upper arm that hit Livas.

Well like all games, sometimes you get good calls, sometimes you don't. All in all I thought the officiating was good tonight. But even with the penalties, MSU has got to admit the forced turnovers and special teams play of Louisiana Tech is whut done 'em in tonight!

The safety non-call was legit for sure. It was clear he got the ball back over the goal line before either of his knees or his elbow hit the ground. Heads up play by Dixon, who is an impressive runner for sure. Luckily our defense was up to the challenge anyway.
