Keep it classy Tech fans, especially if you go on their board. You gain even more respect by winning with class.

This play happened right by Ford who was on the sidelines and he claimed he didn't get the ball over before going down. I will have to rewatch the game tomorrow on DVR and maybe I can get a better view there.

He got it across unless his knee was down. I think it was a good call.

I have already watched the game at home, and he clearly got the ball across. Good call, and good job by our defense.

That was quite possibly the best officiating that we've had in Ruston over the past 5 years. It's not even close.

SURE, there were calls on both sides that are going to get questioned, but I never once said either of these phrases:
    1. "Thanks ref's. We owe you dinner."
    2. "You missed a turn going to the pop warner league fields."
    Well done gentlemen.

i'm just glad that they came to ruston to play us. Our crowd sounded very loud on the replay. The difference in the game was the way our defense played in the second half. that's the best Tech defense I've seen since 1992. I don't believe dixon had over 10 yards in the second half. They can talk about playing without their safety, we were also playing without 2 DL that could have made a difference. we used several DL in the game and they all played good. I was especially impressed with Adrian Logan who came in and helped put pressure on their QB. Logan is a walk-on and this is the first time I have ever seen him on the field. Dooley mentionedafter the game that we had to play some scout team players in the DL. I don't think it mattered which QB they played it the second half, our guys had them covered up. I loved the sack by Faust.

And please don't forget that Miss State got outcoached tonight. To me that is the biggest positive I bring out of this game. I've complained since I can remember on why our past coaching staffs always got outcoached and outschemed in the 2nd half. Major props should go to Dooley and his coaching staff for the outstanding job and adjustments made at halftime. If this is a sign of things to come then Tech will do great things in the future if we can keep Dooley around.

    GO DOGS!!

just saw the replay...it WAS a helmet to helmet hit so it was the right call too. now, if you don't like the rule, thats one thing...but it definitely was helmet to helmet.

And a hurricane just isn't funny. It's not a laughing manner. The folks on the coast of their own state can testify.

I'm so used to the Bicknell era that I almost still expected us to collapse after halftime for some reason... Then we came out and kicked their butt anyway! The bark IS back!!!

The best part......and the final reason we won the game

MSU got NO first downs in the 4th quarter.

Special teams and defense won this game.
