I doubt Obama has the time to write his own speeches. He may have put together several talking points to be inserted, but no way he writes all of his speeches.

He writes many of his own speeches, but he does have a speech writer for when he gets too busy.

Time? What else does the man do? It is not like he is spending his time giving any real thought to the issues.

McCain TV Ratings Beat Obama in Preliminary Numbers

Across all broadcast networks Thursday, Sen. McCain’s speech ended the night with a 4.8 rating/7 share, compared to Sen. Obama’s 4.3/7 average, according to overnight numbers from metered households in 55 U.S. markets measured by Nielsen. These ratings are preliminary, however, and are subject to change.

He must be doing something if he's only getting a "few hours of sleep" and can't speak right... guess the Dems are keeping him up late, trying to re-wire him and download the updated patches of his software. They're still running on Windows 98 afterall...

It's certain that he is not spending his time representing his State in the Senate. I'll bet he hasn't spent 6 months doing his State's business.

Funny that you want to use a technology anecdote since Obama's website is all web 2.0, css/xhtml, and McCain's is table-based... Did McCain just use the same layout from 2000 or what? Could he not find the animated "Under Construction" gif or something

johnmccain.com and barackobama.com look the same to me pretty much, just with some slight, obvious differences (color, etc)... BUT, Obama's is much cleaner, not as "busy" as McCain's, imo.

They also "forget" to mention that BHO was carried on more stations that were Palin or McCain. It seems BHO was carried live on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Fox News Channel, MSNBC, CSPAN, PBS, BET, TV One, Univision and Telemundo (12 channels), while Palin and McCain were carried live on 10 channels (no BET or TV One).
I'm an asshole! What's your excuse?
