and McCain has a larger favorable/unfavorable margin than BHO, First time that I remember seeing him ahead.

The other day I heard some pundit explaining who these "independent swing voters" are that seem to control the outcome of almost every recent presidential election. The pundit (who I cannot remember anymore) said they were fiscal conservative and socially liberal. THAT IS ME!!! Now, why can't we get to pick a candidate for the general election?

Wouldn't that depend on what liberties a person whats to have? When I think of "socially liberal", San Francisco/Hollywood immediately comes to mind.
That's what I mean. I'm totally not of the same ilk as the Hollywood left. However I do view personal freedoms to be a primary right. I believe in the sanctity of life. I believe the government has no right to infringe on my personal liberty so long as I do not harm another human.
