I know that I am teaching more freshman classes than I normally do.
Based on my unofficial estimation, COES is either even or slightly ahead of last year.
I don't really have any sense for the other colleges' enrollments though.

I used to know when this happens. I think it's based on enrollment on the 20th day of classes into the quarter.
The had the announcement today. Looks like we are going in the right direction.
BTW, the Tech website had the actual enrollment figure. The monroe paper website omitted that for some reason.

Since 2000, the school has grown it's enrollment about 10%,
I thought at one time we had close to 12k students?
We did. Fall '03 we were like 11,975.
"Tech President Dan Reneau said the university’s reputation and move to offer more distance learning classes had assisted with the student increase, which is a 3.23 percent jump from last year. More than 100 online classes are being offered for the fall."

I think it was Mark Twain who said, "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."
Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and Tech enrollment figures.
just learned that Tech students are enrolled in fewer credit hours this fall than last..
there must be a lot of students taking just one class
