It doesn't surprise me that this is not mentioned anywhere other than Conservative sites, and shows. Dems always say that the Republicans are the ones trying to take your freedoms away, and yet here is a clear case of Obama wanting to revoke this guy's freedom of speech!

Unless he pursues a government-led approach to clamp down on the station, this hardly seems like fascism. It is just a group of individuals trying to use peer pressure to get their way. Simply, the AGENT (top-down) is more important than the ACTION (force/social control) in the concept of Facism.

I wouldn't generally use Fascism to describe Obama -- that term is certainly more applicable to the Republicans. That said, there are plenty of negative terms that WOULD be appropriate to use with Obama.

Actually, Fascism perfectly describes much of modern "liberalism", and modern liberalism finds its roots in fascism. For example, the early moral relativists/liberals of the early 20th Century were staunch supporters and admirers of Bennito Mussolini.

Under fascism, war is not the end (for example, to achieve victory), but a means to an end (to get the people organized around a cause). Therefore, the moral equivalent of war is important to a fascist to achieve the organization of the people. You can see examples today in the war on poverty, global warming is a grave threat, etc.

So you think FDR was a fascist?
