I used to love me some Tia Maria's. I must admit that it's gone down hill...or it had the last time I was there. Is it still open?

El Jarrito, food and prices are good. The old one across from Taco Bell is not very busy now that the new one has opened behind Raisin Canes.

I brought Drumdawg over to the Ernesto's side of the tracks today...although I had to drive him to Monroe to do it.

San Antonio, home of real Mexican food. Barbacoa and Menudo (Mexican version of chitlins).

I never liked tamales until I got here and had the real thing. You have to get yourself on a waiting list for Christmas tamales at Delicious Tamales. Nothing at all like you have eaten before.

Also I stop almost every morning at Taco Cabana to get my breakfast tacos. We call them the Mexican McDonald's because they are everywhere. Great cheap breakfast.
