    How to use Athletics Enhancement Endowment?

    The amount on hand at the end of June '07 is what is being used for this year's Endowment payout i.e. $21,200 balance which gives the Athletics Department approx. $950 to spend.

    The Athletics Department gave me the items listed in the poll that could use funding. Please vote for the one you think is the most important and the selection receiving the most votes will be communicated to the Athletics administration on October 1 (end of voting).

    What is the process for giving to the endowment again? I may have a little more to spread around this coming year and would like to add some here.

    My personal preference is to ALWAYS give a portion to the AEE whenever I give to Tech. It's a gift that keeps on giving! And it counts toward LTAC membership level!

    Bad news, the link referenced in the earlier post is no longer valid because the latechalumni.org site has been replaced since the Endowment was created and now requires a login process.

    Donate online by going to latechalumni.org and go through the login process and choose the option to donate to LTAC where you then enter a note that the donation is for the "Athletics Enhancement Endowment".

    Via mail - Anyone wanting to send in a tax deductible contribution can do so - make the check payable to Louisiana Tech Foundation and attach a note that it is for the "Athletics Enhancement Endowment". Mail to: Lousiana Tech University Foundation, P.O. Box 3183, Ruston 71272.

    Need everyone's input on this. The poll closes end of September.

    This endowment is following democratic principles since everyone can vote on how to spend even though only a few pay into it.

    Be different and join the few, the proud, ....
