There is a difference between optimism (which you have, is contagious, and admirable in the face of adversity) and hyperbole.

I'll give you the possibility of a good season, 20+ wins and a return to the tourney, but seriously, "the fastest team in the country?" We're not even the fastest team in the region....maybe not even in the state.

We will have mad speed. The question is can we make it work for us and not against us.

Well, still not over the top like me, but does make me feel better. I think we take one from Boise and the MState and WKU games. If we can do that, plus the wins you have above, I will be very happy.

Here's the story....we rely SOLELY on guard play this season. If they are on, we have a chance against weaker opponents. That said, they will have to be on every game and that is something we've not seen in a Chris Long team.

We have NO inside game. Doesn't matter how much better Dowdell is this year. We have one player at 6'2", and the other one (Warren) at 6'1" did not get much play time last year and did not demonstrate that she is a go-to player.

We are a team of guards. Doesn't mean we can't win 20 games, but it sure won't be easy.

One thing that we all can agree on is the hope that we will be pleasantly surprised on how good we are.
