I thought we had a good chance of being 2-2 at this point. However, if I knew then what I know now, I would say 0-4 at this point. There's not alot of wins left on the schedule... Idaho and Army?
I totally disagree with you. Alot of you guys think we are in the SEC where all teams are good and can win on any given day. We are a top 4 team in the WAC, We wil be 7-5 at the end of the year, maybe 8-4. Probable losses are Fresno and Nevada/San Jose St.Originally Posted by T_Won

I don't think we'll score over 10 points on Hawaii, SJS, Fresno, or Nevada. If we can hold them to 9 or fewer, we can beat them.... but that isn't likely.

I hoped we'd be 2-2 but wasn't real sure. We should be excited about that still. We have played some pretty good Defenses so far and that point can't get lost in all of this b/c I think our O will get better and TB will get better and we will win 7-8 games when it is all said and done but time will tell. Our offense will get better as the defenses get worse and from here on out they all get worse, good thing for us! We need all the help we can get.
2-2 is exactly where I thought we'd be. 5-2 is where we will be at the end of this month because Idaho and Army are two of the worst teams in the country and Hawaii just flat sucks this year.
Playing Hawaii on the island is nowhere near a "Sure W"
Oct. 11th will be a crucial game in our WAC season.
A win on the island will be tough, but I think this is our best chance in years to do so.
It is the critical game of our entire season...lose and we probably only win two more games. Before the past 2 games I thought we would win the Hawaii game, now I am very doubtful...we have taken major steps backward as a team.
Let's lineup Livas at QB and split Compton and Jackson behind him.
Actually I thought we'd be 3-1. I'm drinking the Kool-Aid though. I always think we can win every game we play. I never stop believing.
My bar is higher than yours. It's not that the losses to Kansas and BSU were unexpected....it's just the LACK OF SCORING that's extremely disappointing.
Holding Kansas and BSU to 29 and 38 points respectively is not bad. However, we'll never beat ANYBODY without scoring points.

Army crushed Tulane today. Yeah, I know, it's just Tulane, but to win by 30 on the road against a CUSA team, woo-hoo! we all know how tough that is :icon_wink:.
Seriously, I don't see Tech beating Army, especially not up there.
We will beat Idaho and Utah State, mostly because they suck big time. Other than those, don't count on any wins.

Army lost AT HOME to a FCS team
Army got curb stomped by Kent State and Temple
Texas A&M was lucky they had Army on the schedule this year.
Anything can happen but if we can't beat Army, we may not beat USU or Idaho.
I actually did believe we would be 2-2. I also foolishly believed that we would at least compete for the 2 losses. My expectations have been altered for the rest of the year now, but I am hoping I am wrong.
