    Presidential Election 2020

    Here we go...

Poll among Democrat voters, who do you support for the Dem nominee:

    Joe Biden 26%
    Bernie Sanders 18%
    Beto O'Rourke 8%

and that's all I've seen, don't know what the rest of the results are. Yes! it's very early. But, it's not totally unusual, though such polls don't usually start until January after midterms.

Not surprising Biden has an early lead. He's a known commodity, an establishment guy, with name recognition. And! he would currently be president had he been the Dem nominee in '16. But, most likely, that was his chance and his time has past by. Crazy Bernie Sanders has a nice following, name recognition now, and a core of supporters, so he'll be a factor in the bid for the nomination, but, nah. I think, the guy sitting in 3rd is the Dems' best hope for 2020.

There's some talk of Krooked Killary running again. And, if she were to get the nomination, she would beat Trump in a rematch. But, I doubt...well, first, that she runs, but if she does, she'll get smoked in the primaries. I see her trailing the those three for sure...provided they run and make an effort, and probably being nosed out by another candidate or two. Meaning. if KKK runs, and sticks it out long enough, she'll be languishing in 5th or 6th place.

Trump will lose to Biden, KKK, and O'Rourke. He would probably hang on vs. Sanders, and against any of the other crazies out there likely to get the Dem nomination.

Joe Biden is dense, and a little creepy....but overall, he's a likable fellow. Kind of like Jimmy Carter, not a bad person, just totally out-to-lunch in policy, management, and governing matters. It would be close, but Biden would take the WH, due in large part to an anti-Trump vote. Like Trump was the beneficiary of the anti-Killary vote (myself included). Sanders is too radical and can not win an open national election. He would carry the really nutso places like Mass...maybe Vermont, Minnysoda, DC, and California, and not much else.

But...O'Rourke has positioned himself to be a truly viable, national candidate. I think, unless someone else emerges out of nowhere, the 2020 Presidential Election is his to lose. Don't do, or say!!! stupid things, and he's got it. The question is, can he build a national organization? No reason he can't UNLESS the Dem establishment decides it's not his turn and they get behind a Biden or a Warren, or some ditz like that. Even if they do, O'Rourke can still win the nomination, but it'll be a struggle, and he'll have to move so far to the left during the primaries that Trump would use that against him in the general election. If "Dem Nation" adopts O'Rourke as their guy, gets behind him, and all pull together, he's got it in a cakewalk.

Or! I could be dead wrong and it'll be Jeb Bush vs. KKK in 2020.

Yeah, right, like Dems never commit domestic violence. You claim to be independent, but I don’t think you could move any farther left. You’re a discusting hypocrite.

Yes, I don’t like his politics, but I try to separate politics and music. If I didn’t, my music choices would be very limited. Sometimes it does become difficult, though.

Yeah, he went all Dixie Chick on us. Not sure why he felt the need to get emotional about the two guys who were the worst selection for the majority of his Florida fans. The guy needs to either check out his following or shoot them the bird like the Dixie Chicks did.

And the democrat brand doesn't?? If you were truly an independent like you "claim" you are, you would say both do.. but you don't.. that's why you have no credibility on this board.

And likewise Trump supporters have no credibility with independent-minded folks.
