    Louisiana Tech has been picked to finish third in the Western Athletic Conference in both the coaches and media poll released by the league office Tuesday.

    Preseason Polls

    Techsters picked to finish third in both the coaches and media polls released today. Boise and Fresno picked first and second respectfully in both polls. Polls available at www.wacsports.com.

    Dowdell chosen first team all conference and Wysinger chosen for the second team.

    Like usual, it is basically a pre-season poll based on last years order of finish. Doesn't matter, though. We are going to surprise a LOT of people this year. Boise and Fresno may have their same team, but our team will have grown and have a special energy about them. I am looking forward to demolishing some teams this year.
