''Don't be a bad dagh..."
Obviously, QB play is killing the Boys, but their defense is weak. Maybe it has to do with staying on the field too much. Maybe the Offense with Romo at the helm kept them off the field a lot so their weaknesses were covered up. They are a 7-9 (possibly 6-10) team without Romo. Can he make that big of a difference? It will be interesting to see.
This is shaping up to be a meltdown of pentultimate proportions in Big-D....
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
You are right that not having Romo hurts, but I thought they would play better than they have played with Johnson/Bollinger. Even with Romo, they lost to the Redskins, almost lost to the Bungles, and lost to the Cardinals. Their O Line and Defensive secondary are in bad shape. Dwayne is right, this could be a meltdown if TO and J. Jones start running their mouths. If they lose a couple more games in the next four or five weeks, he might even fire Wade Phillips. Who knows what might happen then.
Coaching is a problem. They lack discipline. Way too many penalties. No real effort on Sunday. Injuries have hurt, especially in the secondary and at QB, but they aren't playing up to the talent they have--even without Romo. I heard a commentator talk about how Parcells discipline would last one year, but then the Cowboys would have problems with Phillips -- seems to be accurate.
seems as though JJ needs some more $$$
