Sorry for letting facts get in the way of conspiracy therories and hyperbole, but USC scored a TD 2 or 3 plays later in that series.

As strange as the ref's forearm shiver might have been, it had ZERO impact on the outcome of the game. OTOH, USC's RB clearly failed to break the plane of the end zone on a 4th down play at the end of the 1st half, but still got credit for a TD. If LSU had lost, that (terrible) call would most definitely have had an impact on the outcome of the game.

So if the ref takes down the QB on one play, you don't think he might have let things go or called against USC on other plays? Just asking.

Everyone keeps saying lsu could have scored on the last plays of the game, but USC had the ball with 3 minutes left and could have driven the field and scored and tied it up. Doubtful, but the game was pretty close until the final int.

QB should ahve done like TJ Duckett and just run the ref over. Did anybody see that in the Seahawks game Sunday night? The ref was pulling his flag out of his pocket to call holding and Duckett obliterated him, it was coincidental but very funny.

This looked like a blatant tackle by the ref. Just ignore Shrevetown, he wreaks of corndog.
