The Lions are in need of anything right now, and I hope that Tim gets to play there and does what he is capable of.

Great. Another crappy team with no talent around him. I wish he could get a chance with a decent team, but Detroit is certainly better than nothing. Hope they sign him and he does great!

There is good news. This is a situation that he could find a home for a few years instead of filling in this year. Detroit is obviously unhappy with their younger QBs. Kitna might not have many more years left. Detroit takes Tim and he could easily be the starter until they find a new QB that they can groom.

Oh yea and never underestimate Calvin Johnson. Best young receiver in the game.

Unless he's being guarded by Tramon Williams. Then he's just another victim.

It's going to take a while for him to learn the system. I want the best for Tim, but it may be a while before they use him if they sign him.

Mick, keep us informed, best you can.

TB needs to send Calvin a Christmas Card every year for the rest of his life, for extending his career by 1.5 years, in the Gator Bowl.

And apparently they worked out Culpepper.

What is the deal? Is Rattay just really bad in workouts? I guess I could see how they might not be impressed by him in those situations because he doesn't have a rocket launcher arm...but COME ON.

Wouldn't it be a shame if Gruden's "rep" turned bad and he never got another HC job?

Then again they got a 40 year old off the couch and threw him in to start this year(and a bad one too).. so hey why wouldn't he start straight off?

I hate to wish that on him but good grief what's Gruden's problem? He's hurt 2 of our guys.
