A reason to look forward to Obama-Nation

The idea of an Obama-Reid-Pelosi triumvirate is something I (and I know most of you) have been very much concerned with lately. I am certainly not looking forward to seeing my tax inequality grow. However, this day has been coming......

The idea of boll weevils and Phoenix rising from the ashes has been mentioned before, but for the first time I am really starting to accept what is coming (and what has been coming since FDR)......

Kind of like the sick joy you get from seeing LSU fans after LSU gets raped by Georgia, or the continual replay of the planes hitting the WTC towers that you can't seem to look away from - what is about to unfold will be better than prime time TV material......

And lets face it, "capitalism", "corporations", and "profit" are concepts that have become taken for granted (if not outright despised by some confused individuals, most who have never even had to shoulder the burden of providing for themselves)......

We will all feel the impacts of this foray into unabashed socialism, but I admit I have a perverted fascination with watching idiots reap what they sow. Maybe they will learn their lesson, maybe they won't, but I will be okay......

It would be nice if we could just sit back and watch as these socialist inevitable fail, however we will all feel the effects of their rise to power. Who knows how long it will take the American people to realize just what has been taken from them. Especially with a willing press that will carry the water for the socialist and continue to blame everyone else for the failures. Europe has been suffering this socialist plague for sometime now and seem to be showing signs of awakening. My biggest concerned is that in our weakened state we will be overrun by our enemy's. I feel that this is possible as well as the possibility that we will see a third American Revolution.

It MAY be different for us. Keep in mind there will be a couple of generations of people in the US who have enjoyed greater economic freedom and prosperity and should be able to plainly recognize the grass WAS greener on the other side.

I think it is the slow 75 year transition to socialism that has made it seem more palatable. People just learn to accept the current system as a fact of life. When things change quickly, it is easier to notice.

It MAY be different for us. Keep in mind there will be a couple of generations of people in the US who have enjoyed greater economic freedom and prosperity and should be able to plainly recognize the grass WAS greener on the other side.

This is true but how many are aware of just why they were prosperous? If they had such faith in capitalism why are we seeing Obama rise to popularity? Most of our younger people either too young or not born when the Soviet Union was a threat. They have been told by people like Michael Moore that Cuba is a paradise with the best health care system in the world. Their big hero's in Hollywood are environmental, Peta, Marxist nuts.
