    I'm already seeing complaints of

potential voter fraud here in my parish -

Already had three instances today with BHO supporters throwing fits at the ROV that they couldn't vote because they weren't on the voting roles even though they had registered to vote -

As one said "I registered THREE TIMES..." when asked if he registered here or at the DMV he said no, at someplace else -

He was then informed that unless it is at the parish ROV or local DMV office none of the other sites are secure and his gripe is between him and the person that registered him to vote -

Like I said be prepared for this -

Also getting the calls on why my office can't keep the polls open later and why can't we PROVIDE them transportation to the polls -

The machine is out in FORCE....
    ''Don't be a bad dagh..."

And just why can't you provide them transportation? After all, it is their right to have free transportation.:icon_wink:

Yeah, and if Obama wins they won't have to pay for gas or their mortgages... everything will be free.

Obama is not going to win Louisiana's 9 votes so it doesn't matter anyway. You guys just want something to cry about. You'll be crying about some fictional story about voter fraud for the next 8 years.

    Pretty frightening......

So in Barack's trickle up economy, I suspect tattoo and body piercing parlors as well as beer and cigarette manufacturers will do quite well.

All this may not get you your manufacturing job back (that takes capital), but it might help you put aside some cash for a new grill!

How's your side of WV, mildawg? I just moved here about 6 months ago and I love it.

Just an extended suburb of DC. Actually, it is very nice. We're right between the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers in the Shenandoah Valley, so it is very nice. We're near the mountains, but not close enough that we're affected too much by the weather in the winter. It's a very good location because I live in a rural area. At the same time, however, we're within 30 minutes of several cities (Winchester, VA; Frederick and Hagerstown, MD) and only a short trip from places like DC, Baltimore, Philly, NY, etc.

Why did you make the move? I've never made it to the western part of the state but hope to soon.

Mildawg, I never noticed that you are in Charles Town. My parents live in the panhandle there, too...they teach at Shepherd University up the road from you. Actually, for one of the summers back when I was in school I worked for a white water rafting outfit in Harper's Ferry. Fun times. It really is pretty up that way.

    How's the track doing?

Who'd you work for? Butt's? Do your parents live in Shepherdstown/Kearneysville? We're actually in Locust Hill, just off Route 51, west of Charles Town. It is very nice right now with the changing leaves and cooler temps. It's a bit of a commute to McLean, VA, where I work, but I wouldn't trade it for something closer. I enjoy the small town environment.

The track and slots outfit is doing well. We actually had a vote last year about allowing gaming tables in the casino, but it failed. They are supposed to re-vote next summer, and I have a feeling it will pass this time. There are definitely pros and cons to allowing them out here, with the increase in traffic being my biggest concern. But, the folks that own the casino are talking about buying the golf course we live on and turning it into a full-fledged country club. That would be OK in my book.

Are they ever going to make the track a 1 mile oval. Many horse racing fans are not fond of the 6 furlong dimension of Charlestown.

You think the rampant fraud by ACORN is fictional? Did you call someone ELSE naive? Wow.

It's not a stereotype. There are proven correlations between income and all of those factors. Especially tattoos and cigarette smoking. Not so much with beer consumption. What is the stereoype? DawgyNWindow didn't bring up race, gender, or religion. He only mentioned the economy.

    Take off the glasses, freak.
