    No, I wasn't aware that it was a series of books until I started watching the show a few months ago (thanks to Netflix). Something tells me the books don't have the gratuitous nudity that the show does, which is a concern.

    Got my hands on season one last week. Six episodes in I'm hooked.

    Saw where Showtime went ahead and ordered 2 more seasons so there will be at least 4 and 5.

    After I watched all the episodes I had to read the books. The first two books are really good reads. I wish the show could have used the story line from the second book for one of the seasons.

    Just found the third book online. That Christmas gift card from Amazon just found a use.
