I always wondered if Roaf would come back and do something like that someday.
He still wants to play, believe me im with ya, I want to see him stay with the organization but for the time being he is looking for another team.
I hope he knows better than to go to the evil Dirty Bird Falcoons like the rest of the traitors did.
I doubt if Duece can pass a physical to play for anyone else....

When asked about Deuce re-signing with the Saints, Mickey Loomis said, "We have left that door ajar, but I wouldn't call it likely."
I assume that means that if Deuce doesn't get a deal anywhere else, he can come back and sign a new contract for a smaller amount. Certainly, failing a physical could bring him back. I think this is the smart move, because we really need a free safety, and this money can help with that. But, it just won't be the same seeing Deuce in a different jersey.

Replacing Deuce with Fred Taylor would make absolutely no sense. Mike Bell is not the alternative we need. As Huss stated, a bruising back would be the best fit.
They should have grabbed Lamont Jordan last yearor bellied to the bar to get Turner before Atlanta got him.
He can't right now with the knee scope he had about 6 weeks ago. With rehab, I think he will be able to pass a physical, but will anyone else out there want him, that's the big question.
I still have to think he has one more good year in him, but not as an every down back. He has turned into more of power back, the kind that when it's 2nd and 1, give him the ball and he'll get you the first down. I wouldn't be surprised if he is back with the Saints, especially if one of there backs gets hurt during training camp or the season, that is if no other team picks him up..
Shonn Greene from Iowa will likely be around in the 2nd or 3rd round. So will Rashad Jennings from Liberty (one of my favorites). After those two (assuming SP doesn't want Beanie with is 1st pick), you've got Andre Brown from NC State and Arian Foster from Tennessee.
All of these guys have the size to be bruisers in the NFL.

My question is who is a good one we can get? It seems like most of these guys dont last long or stay good long enough to become vets.
I'm not sold on the fact that Bush can't get more carries either. I still think the Saints under-utilize him. I wouldn't give him 30 carries a game or anything like that mind you but certainly more than he is getting.
